Congrats to Dan Morgan!

After every summer, those of us that don’t work full time for the TLC Corporation go back home and begin their job for the other 10 months that they don’t spend up at Timber Lake.

Dan Morgan, one of our Division Leaders on Boys’ Side who was in charge of the Collegiate Division last summer, began a new job as a Middle School teacher in South Carolina when he got home after the summer of 2013.  It is safe to say that based on this award, He has already made a huge impact in his school.  Recently, Dan was recognized and given the Berkeley Middle School Rookie Teacher Of The Year Award and we couldn’t be any prouder!

Dan’s creativity and willingness to help our campers and his students is one of many reasons as to why Dan succeeds not only up at Timber Lake, but in the classroom as well.  Dan will be back this summer and as he told us recently, he can’t wait to get back up to Saddle Mountain for another summer at TLC!  Congratulations, Mr. Morgan!  You deserve it!  And don’t worry Dan, 52 days until we are all back up at camp and WE CAN’T WAIT!
