Holiday Greetings from TLC

In an unusual turn of events that we won’t see again in our lifetime, let alone in another 79,000 years, Hanukkah and Thanksgiving arrived at the same time this year.  With Christmas fast approaching next week, and as we prepare to ring in a new year, we look with hope to what’s to come and reflect on the year that’s ending.

Each year during the holiday season, Timber Lake Camp, along with our sister camps and day school, help out less fortunate residents in Glen Cove by adopting several families from the Gribbin Elementary School.  In addition, a large portion of the Day School’s donation drive is donated to The Boys and Girls Club of Glen Cove for their “Santa’s Work Shop.”

To everyone in our camp family, we hope you are full of good cheer and wish you a very happy & healthy new year.  Before you know it, the snow will be gone and camp will be here!
