Indian Summer 2013

There is no better way to spend the last weekend of September than up at Timber Lake with our 2013 Teen campers.  We were lucky enough to have absolutely beautiful weather and we certainly took advantage of it.  It’s safe to say our campers did NOT want to go home on Sunday morning…and quite frankly, neither did we!

The Teens arrived around 11:30am on this past Saturday and took full advantage of the open grounds! Our teens had an incredible time participating in activities including walking around taking pictures of the beautiful fall scenery, cooking with Janie and Mindy, co-ed BBG, touch football, and basketball under the lights at the Tigers Den!  The nighttime cap off was a campfire at our fire pit with some unforgettable camp stories from Jay!  We also celebrated Jay’s birthday with a fabulous birthday cake!

A very special thanks to Romy Diamond, Steve Bocian, Eric Stein, Jackie Jacobs, Jessica Jacobs, Damon Debicarri, Lee Ammer, and Jarred Traub who came up for the weekend to help out – we couldn’t have done it without you!
