Happy 4th of July!
Happy 4th of July everyone! Yesterday was the 4th of July and we celebrated in style! We were all sporting some kind of red, white and blue and were fashionably prepared for our big day of continuous celebrations!
All sorts of themed activities were planned in honor of America’s birthday! Timber Lake was divided into the Red, White & Blue teams and we had relay races, potato sack races, water-balloon tosses, 4th of July super-speed quiz of “How much do you know about America” and so much more! This fun fast-paced day was packed with activities that begged for some good ‘ol fashion food. We had an all American picnic for lunch, and an out-of-this-world July 4th barbeque for dinner! We built up such an appetite; thank goodness the food was endless!
Finally, after our barbeque, we enjoyed our traditional counselor softball game of USA vs. The World and ended the evening with a spectacular nighttime lightshow of colorful fireworks.
