When parents talk about camp, most often they focus on the friendships their kids create, the new skills they develop and the smiles on their faces when they get home at the end of the summer. Stories about bunkmates and counselors and Color War and scavenger hunts warm the hearts of moms and dads across the country as August comes to a close.
