Experience TLC in Action!

We recently had our 1^st of 3 Rookie Days for Summer 2012.  This is where prospective campers and their parents spend a day here at camp to see what we’re all about. It’s a great way for new families to share the Timber Lake Camp experience first-hand!

At Rookie Day, rookies are paired up with current campers to get a preview of what they’ll experience if they come to camp the following summer.  They spend a full day doing camp athletics, activities and experiencing fun adventures by participating in  electives. Some of our camper’s favorite electives include our Climbing Wall, Fishing, Woodshop, the High Ropes Course, Mountain Biking, Ceramics, Canoeing, Kayaking, Waterskiing and so much more!  You’d be surprised how many Rookie Day parents end up asking if they too can come to camp for the summer too!

We had such a great time with our rookies at our 1^st Rookie Day.  We look forward to meeting the next group of rookies on Saturday, July 14^th and then again at our final Rookie Day on Saturday, July 28^th.
